Job Description

Senior Accounts Officer At a Leading Outsourcing & Corporate Secretarial Services Firm in Yangon, Myanmar

  • Reporting Manager - Finance Manager

  • Up to 700,000 MMK + Other Benefits

The Role

  • Communicate with existing Clients and Introduce new/potential client accounts.

  • Understand the business nature by meeting the client company and their internal finance team.

  • Communicate regularly with existing clients for transaction information and supporting documentation.

  • Discuss with client for additional data and supporting Information.

  • Prepare the suitable Chart of Accounts (CoA) for client’s business.

  • Record and enter into the cloud accounting system and manage the online account.

  • Reconcile the Accounts Payable and Receivable.

  • Prepare and reconcile general bank statements

  • Prepare the Statement of Cash Flow (Daily, Weekly, Monthly).

  • Preparation of Final Report (SOPL & SOFP) and Analysis report of Financial Statement.

  • Discuss with Client for the Final Report via online meeting or face to face.

  • Liaise with the client to plan annual audit requirements for account.

  • Responsible for managing tax matters in relation to the client’s business, including Income Tax, Corporate Tax & Service Tax, Withholding Tax, Etc.

  • Strong understanding of payroll for clients, including Personal Income Tax (PIT) and SSB.

  • Regularly liaising with team leader after finalizing the above matter.

  • Update the weekly report for all work completed and pending, Etc.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.

  • Good inter-personal communication skill and adynamic team player.

  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and time management skills.

  • At least 5 years+ of relevant working experience in finance and accounting.

  • ACCA Part II or CPA Part II.

  • Possess at least a bachelor's degree preferably in finance/accounting or professional qualification.

  • Prefer for knowledge to use Xero Software and QuickBooks software
