Head of Sales (Pathein Region) at Int’l Start Up Home Solar Company in Myanmar

  • To establish and develop overall Sales strategy and activities for Pathein Region
  • Up to 3,000,000 MMK

About the Company

Our client has recently set up operations in Yangon and their mission is to contribute low cost and reliable home solar system especially for Myanmar rural area to get a clean and safe electricity. They have big aim for supplying solar energy by cooperating closely with NGOs and Int’l development organizations.

The Role

Head of Sales will be performing the followings:

  • Manage and steer the overall country Sales Team (all Sales channels, Trade Lane and Sales Support)
  • Ensures local/regional/global sales KPIs will be followed/achieved and reported with a high level of data accuracy
  • Support Country Head to devise and fine tune strategic directives
  • Acts as a coach for Product and existing & future sales team members

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales people management
  • Able to understand all important sales specifics in the rural areas
  • Must travel around country and to remote areas
  • Advanced English communication skills
  • Experience working with both international and Burmese colleagues
