Business Development and Key Account Manager at an International Insurance Broker Company in Yangon

  • Responsible for handling the most important sales and active client accounts in the organization and maintain a strong relationship with them

The Role

Great Opportunity for a motivated and well-experienced Business Development and Key Account role primarily bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will possess a passion for sales, a deep understanding of the insurance market, and a proven track record in business development and account management

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively engaging with potential clients, conducting market research, and developing targeted strategies to expand the company's customer base

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring their satisfaction

  • Collaborate with internal management teams to deliver customized solutions that meet clients' needs and foster long-term partnerships

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans aligned with the company's objectives

  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to drive growth and maintain a competitive edge

  • Report to Business Development Director and working independently


  • At least 3 or 5 years of proven experience in Business Development or Key Account Manager preferably within the Insurance Sectors

  • Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth and building and managing key accounts

  • Strong knowledge of medical and life insurance products, services, and industry trends

  • Bachelor’s degree is a must or A Degree in Management, Marketing, Communication, or a similar field

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with clients

  • Native Burmese with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
