Business Development Executive at Global Logistics and Forwarding Company in Yangon, Myanmar
Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
Up to 2,000,000 MMK per month
The Role
The ideal background for the role will be strong hands-on experience in handling sales or business development roles from International Logistics or Freight Forwarding Businesses and a proven track record of sales in current or previous employers will be advantages

Description
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
Generate leads, set appointments, and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including. face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, and emails, etc.
Identify and target potential clients in logistics and transportation industry
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through lead generation and prospecting
Present logistics solutions and services to potential clients
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective way manners
Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions
Monitor client satisfaction and work to ensure high levels of service quality
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and the market conditions
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and clients interactions
Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth and timely cargo shipments
Coordinate with Finance to make sure Gross Profit and Billing process
Monitor shipments and provide clients with real-time updates
Resolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise during transportation
Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all companies employees
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is typically required
Minimum 2 – 3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding logistics or transportation industry and customs regulations
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Proficiency in sales techniques, including prospecting, closing deals, and managing client relationships
Familiarity with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Good team player with a positive working attitude
