​Business Development Manager at a Leading Interior Decoration Company in Mandalay

  • Responsible for Project hunting, Client Services, Customer Relationships, Project Sales, and Business Development

The Role

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the decoration business across the Upper Myanmar regions, targeting residential, commercial, and industrial projects

A market-leading interior decoration company in Yangon with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and high-quality solutions to clients across the Construction industry. Recently expanded Mandalay branch as an initial step of the expansion strategy


  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and targeting potential clients, including architects, developers, consultants, and project owners

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs and preferences, and present our decoration services as solutions tailored to their requirements

  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing our expertise, portfolio, and value proposition effectively

  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while aligning with the company's goals and profitability targets

  • Project Management Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal project management teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of projects, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business

  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitors' activities, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and formulate effective business strategies


  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of Project Sales / B2B Sales experience within related industry background. Preferably from the Construction / Decoration / Building Materials industry: Steel, Paint, Sanitary wares, Decorative materials, etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree holder

  • Fluency in Mandarin: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin Chinese, enabling effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders

  • Can consider Non-Mandarin speakers as well
