​Business Development Manager at a Leading International Pharmaceutical Distribution Company in Yangon

  • Responsible to manage the execution of country/channel/product expansion strategies to achieve short-and long-term business objectives

  • Up to 3,000,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role

The is an ideal role for individual who has strong experience in developing commercial activities for pharmaceutical products in both ethical and OTC categories and experience handling the nationwide sales role

Our client is considered as one of the largest international pharmaceutical distribution companies in Myanmar and serving in the country for over 2 decades with around 3,000 specialist employees

Description

  • Identify, evaluate and manage business opportunities/leads in securing sales pipeline in line with short- and long-term financial goals

  • Manage research/feasibility studies/market scan, evaluate findings and prepare information for decision making

  • Prepare contracts, providing inputs on proper pricing and contract terms

  • Identify upsell opportunities and manage contract renegotiations with existing clients

  • Manage the improvement of current business development processes and cross-functional collaboration to drive effectiveness and minimize redundancy

  • Drive and coordinate activities related to business development workforce capability and client/customer data management

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for upsell opportunities, deal negotiations and contract finalization

  • Establish long-term relationships with potential clients with the view to enhance business opportunities

Requirements

  • M.B.B.S or other healthcare education degree

  • Minimum 5 – 8 years of working experience in sales, marketing, and business development within the pharmaceutical industry

  • Great interpersonal skills, Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement and able to handle business travelling
