The Role
Deploying Hadoop clusters, adding and removing nodes, keeping track of jobs, monitoring critical parts of the cluster, configuring name-node high availability
Performing Cluster tuning, cluster monitoring, and troubleshooting, Backup, Snapshot, and Recovery from node failure
Installing and configuring Hadoop Security using Kerberos and Sentry
Good understanding of Spark, Hive, Kafka, Hue, Atlas, and HBase architecture
Installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring of HDFS, Yarn, Spark, Hive, Oozie, Kafka, Impala, Atlas, Hue, Zookeeper, and other Hadoop ecosystems
Performing Commissioning and Decommissioning of nodes and running balancer utility
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) or Information Technology
Minimum of 3 Years of experience in Cloudera Environment Administration in mid or large-level organizations
Experience in Cloudera or Hortonworks: HDFS, Hive/Impala, Spark, Oozie, Sqoop, Yarn, MapReduce
Experience in working with CDH 6.X or CDP 7.X platform or equivalent platform (Hortonworks, MAPR, etc.)
Knowledge in NiFi, Kafka, Spark
Has a good understanding of Big Data, BI/DWH Technology, advanced and Real-Time Analytics, Complex Event Processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Customer Value Management, and Campaign Management Technology
Has a good understanding of Data Management, Data Governance, Data Integrity, and Data Security
