  • Responsible to manage and develop the overall commercial activities of the compound fertilizer product for the Myanmar Market

Strong leadership and people management skills, along with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, would be essential for effectively driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships

Description

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, business plans, and marketing campaigns to drive sales growth and market share in the fertilizer distribution industry

  • Lead and manage the sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation, to ensure high performance and productivity

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and agricultural organizations

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead of the competition and identify areas for product development and improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of products and services to customers

  • Analyse sales data, prepare sales forecasts and generate reports to track performance and propose corrective actions

Requirements

  • Graduated from Yezin Agriculture or similar

  • Minimum 5 – 8 years of working experience handling fertilizers or crop protection products on a nationwide scale

  • Proven experience as a sales manager experience handling nationwide sales or in a similar role within the fertilizer distribution or agricultural industry

  • In-depth knowledge of the local agricultural market, including key players, distribution channels, and customer needs

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
