Deputy Head of IT at a Leading Financial Service Company in Yangon

  • Responsible for Co-leading the three main pillars of IT (Business Technology Services, Information Systems and IT Service delivery); Focusing on building a World-class Agile Technology Organization with Continuous Integration and Deployment to anticipate and respond quickly to the demands of the market and industry

About the Company

Responsibilities

  • Support HODs with IT support and advice to facilitate and drive organization’s strategy of achieving its business results

  • Performs an advisory and support role for all departments, through the provisions of ongoing IT expertise and ensure exceptional delivery service standards to HODs and support them in achieving superior business results and providing all other support as necessary to drive organization’s business objectives

  • Establishes, maintains, and revises policies, procedures and infrastructure within the organization to ensure fit-for-purpose and responsiveness to market demands and advancements

  • Builds and develops capability centers in key technical and project management roles (such as Software Engineering, Cyber security, etc.) to enhance technology capabilities and contribute to the achievement of the overall organization’s Digital Transformation

  • Initiates and drives IT and infrastructure development programs such as quality improvement, new IT solutions, Cloud management, hardware deployment and scalability measures to continuously improve the effectiveness of the organization’s digital capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or other related degrees

  • Experience in IT management including supervising teams budgeting, project management and implementing software and hardware system

  • 10 years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, with at least 5 years of experience in management or leadership role

  • People management of at least 10 employees

  • Strong in driven complex IT implementation projects

  • International corporate environment experience desired
