The Role

A pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards are upheld across manufacturing operations. The role focuses on compliance, risk reduction, and driving a safety-first culture in alignment with both global frameworks and local regulations

Description

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS systems across the factory in accordance with global and local standards

  • Monitor health, safety, and environmental KPIs; analyze trends to develop and execute corrective actions

  • Drive initiatives to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure zero-incident operations

  • Align factory-wide EHS programs with ISO standards and corporate sustainability goals

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct training, audits, and compliance programs

  • Manage EHS-related budgets, reporting, and documentation to meet performance targets

  • Coordinate risk assessments, emergency response planning, and contractor safety management

  • Serve as a key contact for internal audits, external inspections, and stakeholder reporting

  • Foster a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Health & Safety, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS roles, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of ISO systems, safety regulations, and sustainability practices

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and implement compliance frameworks

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Proficiency in English and Burmese
