Job Description

​Employee Engagement Executive at a Growing Outsourcing Service Company in Yangon

  • Responsible to provide a better experience and build a good relationship with the Outsourced Employees who are employed by P&O. Through regular interaction, friendly notices and updates on important information that is relevant to the employees, the role will be able to build a strong reputation with them

  • Up to 500,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role

  • Keeping track of all relevant employee information in a single location to ensure speedy access

  • Keeping up to date with information from the relevant ministries (Labor, Tax, Social Security) and sharing this information with the employees

  • Updating employees on any significant changes in routines; public holidays, pay day date changes

  • Sending birthday and work anniversary messages to employees

  • Sharing updates related to Health Insurance changes for those employees registered with Health Insurance through P&O

  • Share relevant holiday notifications to promote happiness with the employees

  • For expatriate employees, assist the P&O Operations team in effective communication related to specific changes to their situation

  • For expatriate employees, keep track of contract and visa expirations and coordinate the communication with the employer in advance to ensure extensions are processed in time

  • Share any Burmese only announcements in English to expatriate employees. This may include creating actual translations of such announcements

  • Drive a listening culture and build feedback mechanisms into employee engagement activities and internal communications to enable employees to have an opportunity for dialogue

  • Regularly engage with local employees on a salary of 3M MMK+ and all expat employees to learn more about their current situation

  • Ensure all employee records are kept up to date in company CRM

Requirements

  • Must have 2-3 years of professional experience in handling employee engagement process

  • Good command of English is a must

  • Strong computer literacy and able to use Excel and type more than 40 words per minute

  • Detailed oriented, flexible and responsible personality

  • Highly focused on teamwork
