Executive Assistant at a Leading Financial Service Company in Yangon, Myanmar

  • To work directly with the Managing Director and is responsible for supporting the planning, administration, communication, reporting and following up the needs of the Managing Director undertaking a variety of tasks to support her vision, strategy, and approach

  • Up to 1,500,000 MMK plus attractive benefit package

About the Company

  • Provide sophisticated calendar management for MD

  • Act as a liaison and provide support to the Management Team

  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the MD’s ability to effectively lead the organization, including assisting with special projects, designing, and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations

  • Work closely with the MD to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments, responsibilities, or any emerging issues, following up appropriately

  • Provide "gatekeeper" and "gateway" roles, providing a bridge for smooth communication between the MD and staff

  • Act as a translator/interpretation (Burmese and English) between MD and staff

  • Work with the Management Team to coordinate the MD’s outreach activities

  • Follow up on contacts made by the MD to cultivate ongoing relationships

  • Invest in building long-lasting relationships both externally and internally

  • Other duties if required for the benefit of the organization


  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a professional role and 3-year minimum executive support experience, including supporting C-level executives

  • Proficient in English (Speaking, Reading, Writing, and listening)

  • Must be a bachelor’s degree holder

  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials

  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including management members, senior staff, staff, customers, community leaders, donors, and funded partners

  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
