Finance Manager at a Successful Trading and Distribution Company in Yangon

  • Responsible for ensuring that all accounting and tax records are properly kept, and reports and filings are done in compliance with accounting and legal regulations, standards, policies, and procedures

About the Company

Our client is a Successful Trading and Distribution Company in Yangon and always trying to provide the best products to the clients and customers


  • Build-up & manage accounting control system to ensure the accounting jobs of company in compliance with the accounting principles & government law and respond to issue financial & internal reports accurately, timely and sufficiently

  • Prepares Commercial Tax, all relevant taxes, Company Tax Returns and Statutory Accounts for the entity as prescribed by the local authority

  • Responsible for full sets of accounts, month-end close reporting, quarterly forecast and yearly budget preparation

  • Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow, management reporting for submission to HQ

  • Support CFO in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy

  • Preparation of Annual Budgets (including Cash Flow Budget), review expenses and conduct analysis of operating expenses and budget variances with supported reasons

  • Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment

  • Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet on going operational and capital investment requirements

  • Control budget & cash flow to save cost and increase productivity

  • Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up

  • HR management including preparation of payroll and submit all kind of mandatory taxes, SSO, etc. to the relevant regulators


  • Graduated bachelor’s degree major in accounting

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the position of Accounting and Finance manager in foreign companies

  • Have experience in setting up accounting system / UPS accounting software

  • Having experience in imported products from oversea

  • Strong presentation, communication, inter-personal and reporting skills

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

  • Work independently and professionally with little supervision
