​Head of Ethical Marketing at a Global Pharmaceutical Company in Yangon

  • Responsible for the overall marketing strategies across all the ethical portfolios

The Role

This is an ideal role for the individual who has strong hands-on experience in overall marketing functions in handling Ethnical Pharma products plus experience in leading Top leading ethical product marketing in Myanmar Market

About the company

Our client is Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturer with top tier position for specialty generic products and having presence over 100 countries across the globe

Description

  • Responsible for driver overall promotional strategy & inputs according to the HQ annual therapy/ brand plan for assigned markets

  • Preparation of promotional input utilization plan, and visit-wise plan along with detailing stories (on a quarterly basis)

  • Report on implementation status (plan vs actual) monthly basis

  • Maintaining of input data & inventory management (receipt, distribution, balance status)

  • Ensure dispatch of inputs as the plan & timely execution of strategies by field force

  • Follow up on activities, gifts & other key high investments planned for the quarter

  • Responsible to handle overall analysis for the product/market situation

  • Market data – IMS, Close up, Tertiary

  • Sales analysis – Territory, Brand, Competitors & feedback to be represented to team or HO monthly

  • Competitor analysis, expenditure monitoring, and control with respect to budgets planned for the year for promotional activities on a quarterly basis

  • Identification of future products of interest in segments of interest every 6 months

  • Market research for ensuring successful new product launches

  • Benchmarking our company vs key competitors

  • Conducting cycle meetings: conferences and fieldwork, customer connection, training for field force, and reporting

Requirements

  • Posses M.B.B.S or doctorate degree or similar

  • MBA or Ph.D. would be added advantages

  • Minimum 12 – 15 years of working experience in ethical pharmaceutical space with at least experience in handling Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing or Head of Marketing posts and leading a team

  • Experienced leader with a proven track record in coaching and developing teams to meet their objectives

  • Strong communicator in both written and spoken English
