Head of Finance at one of the Biggest Retails Company in Yangon
Responsible for budget planning, cost analyses and taxation
Up to 4,000,000 MMK plus ferry and other allowances and benefits
The Role
The role needs to handle day to day financial operation, budget management, cost analysing, taxation and supervising the finance big team
About the Company
The client established as trading company limited in February 2010. The core business of our company is to manufacture and distribute steel-related products. They import top-quality raw materials from trusted and value wholesale and retail as well as consumer markets.
Description
Approve or reject budgets
Conduct risk management
Supervise a team of Accountants (Wholesale, Retail, and other business units)
Allocate resources and manage cash flows
Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information
Conduct profit and cost analyses
Recommend cost-reducing solutions
Responsible to tax rated issue (Personal Income Tax (employee), Commercial Tax, Income Tax according to IRD requirements)
Requirements
Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience as a finance / accounting professional in trading and retail industry
Strong financial and analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial statements. Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field from a leading university. MBA, ACCA is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proactive and be in ga team player–a must
Experience in creating detailed reports and giving presentations to business leaders
Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines and maintain composure under pressure
Knowledge of Myanmar tax (Commercial tax and income tax) to liaise with Inland revenue department - a must
