Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at a Leading Multinational Company in Yangon, Myanmar.

  • To provide comprehensive financial information and analyses to support CFO and leadership decision and to formulate strategies for the growth of business and mitigate the risks

The Role

Excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate who is looking for a career development in a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis role.

Our client is a Leading Multinational Company in Yangon and always trying to provide the best products to the clients and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Management to plan proactive business decisions

  • Drive the financial aspects of the business’ strategic plans by preparing budgets, estimates, forecasts, and scenarios to identify financial trends and opportunities for improvement

  • Establish financial modelling to assess benchmarks, risks, and efficiency for the financial wellbeing of the company

  • Proactively work with non-finance stakeholders to ensure the Finance function is embedded in the business and provide value adding financial advice to achieve the goals and priorities

  • Work with treasury- to ensure liquidity requirement as per projection and plan is incorporated in the cashflow

  • Establish and execute internal controls by complying with CFOFR (Control Framework over Financial Reporting) to ensure checks and balances in the system

  • Embrace emerging technologies to automate the manual processes to improve accuracy and efficiency

  • Ensure Corporate governance, requirements and Group standard are met on time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or relevant field

  • Relevant Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA)

  • Proven experience in a managerial role

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Able to relay complex information and analyses in a precise and clear way

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and procedures, international financial reporting standards, compliance, regulations, and economics

  • In-depth understanding of all the accounting and finance functions

  • Excellent supervisory and organizational skills

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to lead Finance projects

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient in power BI would be an advantage
