The Role

The ideal talent will play a vital role in driving the growth of the company’s sales operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and the ability to meet and exceed annual sales turnover

About the Company

Our client is a leading Furniture production company in Yangon. They are one of the biggest Local Construction Conglomerate groups which recently separated into a Furniture business through Wholesales and Retail channels

Description

  • Control annual sales planning: Develop strategies to achieve annual sales targets of around 4 Billion MMK. Monitor sales performance, identify improvement areas, and take necessary actions to meet sales goals

  • Monitor Retail and Wholesale Sales teams: Oversee and guide teams, providing coaching and support to enhance performance. Set targets, monitor progress, and improve team efficiency

  • Skill development and performance management: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance team skills. Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans

  • Collaboration with other departments: Attend management meetings, align sales strategies, and foster cross-functional cooperation

  • P&L ownership and sales team management: Take ownership of the P&L statement. Monitor sales data, identify trends, and manage the team within budgets

  • Sales strategy planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share and maximize revenue opportunities

  • Reporting: Prepare sales reports, present KPIs to Sales Director and senior management, and provide accurate forecasts and market insights

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of working experience within the Building Materials industry with extensive knowledge of Channel Development of Wholesales and Retail channels such as Pro1, Saw Bwar Gyi Gone (SBGG), etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field

  • Mandatory Intermediate English

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L management
