Marketing Manager at International Pharma Manufacturing and Distribution Company in Yangon

  • Responsible for managing the country’s overall marketing initiatives.

  • Up to 4,500,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role

The ideal background for the role will have strong hands-on experience in handling overall marketing functions from the pharmaceutical business and experience in working with both Ethical and OTC categories. Worked in a managerial role for at least 4 years and have experience leading a small team.

  • Give proper direction to the company to Increase Market Share for each Brand & segment and deliver desired growth as per the set Goal.

  • Find new opportunities for growth of the organization.

  • Accountable for ensuring 100% Sales Achievement of set Target and Marketing expenses within Budget & Fixed Head and to Ensure to set Bottom Line for all Products/Monthly Basis.

  • Developing the overall marketing strategy for the pharmaceutical organization

  • Regular monitoring of budgets, related to BU/ Country Marketing Plan with review as appropriate.

  • All products Cycle Promotion Plan for medical channel and OTC Chanel for selected OTC products.

  • Ensure the right direction to the Business Team for proper implementation of strategies, guide BMs for follow-up on implementation of strategies & activities.

  • Participation in trade shows and doctors' conferences

  • Product, Communication, and Selling Skill training at all levels of the Marketing & Business Team of Whole Nation

  • New Product Launch Plan. Existing Products Brand Building and Brand Life Re-Cycle Plan activity


  •  Bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum 5 – 6 years of working experience handling marketing role or product marketing role from an International or local pharmaceutical company

  • Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills are a must. Able to handle many different projects at the same time.

  • Having good interpersonal skills and self-motivated person.

  • Understanding the collaboration with cross-functional team

  • Proficient in English and Myanmar Languages
