Responsibilities
Plan, supervise and deliver the program in accordance with the school policies, guidelines, frameworks, and philosophy of the school. Integrating competencies, goals, and objectives into the lesson plans.
Prepare and implement programs and age-appropriate teaching aids
Nurture every child to be confident, to be uniquely themselves and to be the best they can be
Keep accurate records of the children’s progress and contribute to the children’s individual educational, emotional and developmental needs
Complete and submit developmental progress reports / learning journey and weekly reports of the children as required and in line with the school’s policies and procedures
Communicate regularly with parents; via the Taidii communication tool; during Parents/Teachers Conferences or by appointment if required to address any concerns. Maintain a professional relationship with parents
Use effective teaching methods, including knowledge of best practices to engage with the children, earn their trust and attention
Always use positive discipline and reframing techniques
Use enquiry and play-based learning hands-on teaching, facilitating, recording observations
Offer crafted play, which goes beyond the normal free play and leads the children’s imagination to develop creative and confident life-long learners
Familiarize yourself with all working curriculum documents, handbooks, and Company policy manuals
Be a Team player / regularly collaborate with other teachers and Administration
Requirements
Native speaker is a must
Solid teaching background in early childhood education programs or Preschools
Excellent communication and classroom Management skills. Computer literate
Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) is a plus
Creative, enthusiastic, and inspiring with loving energy
Excellent Time Management, Planning and organizational skills
Patient, supportive and flexible
Lifelong learner, to maintain and improve professional competence
