Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise and deliver the program in accordance with the school policies, guidelines, frameworks, and philosophy of the school. Integrating competencies, goals, and objectives into the lesson plans.

  • Prepare and implement programs and age-appropriate teaching aids

  • Nurture every child to be confident, to be uniquely themselves and to be the best they can be

  • Keep accurate records of the children’s progress and contribute to the children’s individual educational, emotional and developmental needs

  • Complete and submit developmental progress reports / learning journey and weekly reports of the children as required and in line with the school’s policies and procedures

  • Communicate regularly with parents; via the Taidii communication tool; during Parents/Teachers Conferences or by appointment if required to address any concerns. Maintain a professional relationship with parents

  • Use effective teaching methods, including knowledge of best practices to engage with the children, earn their trust and attention

  • Always use positive discipline and reframing techniques

  • Use enquiry and play-based learning hands-on teaching, facilitating, recording observations

  • Offer crafted play, which goes beyond the normal free play and leads the children’s imagination to develop creative and confident life-long learners

  • Familiarize yourself with all working curriculum documents, handbooks, and Company policy manuals

  • Be a Team player / regularly collaborate with other teachers and Administration

Requirements

  • Native speaker is a must

  • Solid teaching background in early childhood education programs or Preschools

  • Excellent communication and classroom Management skills. Computer literate

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) is a plus

  • Creative, enthusiastic, and inspiring with loving energy

  • Excellent Time Management, Planning and organizational skills

  • Patient, supportive and flexible

  • Lifelong learner, to maintain and improve professional competence
