Description
Plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing activities to meet production targets
Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal resource utilization
Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to maintain efficiency
Ensure products meet established quality standards and specification
Implement and oversee quality control procedures and protocols
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures
Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary
Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products
Coordinate maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime
Prepare and manage budgets related to production activities
Supervise and mentor production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Stay updated with technological advancements and integrate relevant innovations into production
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role within the chemical, fertilizer, or pesticides industry
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control systems
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
Proficiency in production planning and inventory control
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
