Job Description

Risk and Compliance Manager at a Leading Financial Service Company in Yangon

  • Responsible for providing high-level strategic direction to the group’s senior management on risk and compliance-related matters

  • Up to 5,000,000 MMK and other benefits

The Role

Lead the risk and compliance function and be responsible for providing high-level strategic direction to the group’s senior management on risk-related matters as well as holding the ethical integrity of the company and ensuring that business operations are compliant with government rules and regulations.

Leading financial institution which was established in 2015 by one of largest investment funding companies in Asia.

Description

  • Implement and stabilize effective risk control framework

  • To analyze and monitor the data from relevant departments

  • To prepare the materials and report the key risks to the risk management committee

  • Provide guidance to compliance unit as well as compliance owners to ensure the company’s business activities are fully comply with relevant laws, regulations as well as company’s policies and procedures

  • To design and develop training program and materials and conduct risk and compliance training to all employees

  • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the CEO

Requirements 

  • Relevant bachelor or prefer master’s degrees ideally in accounting, law, economics, business management and administration and risk management

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in risk management at the financial industry

  • Excellent knowledge in all type of risk management in financial industry

  • Having strong network and able to well communicate with relevant authorities, regulators.

  • Excellent written and spoken English
