Job Description

​Sales and Marketing Executive (Ocean Freight) at an International Transport and Logistics Service Company in Yangon

  • Responsible for selling Sea freight services to new and existing customers, achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with customers

  • Up to 1,200,000 MMK plus other benefits and allowances

The Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating sales and handling the freehand Sea Freight solutions business. An independent role and reporting to Sales Manager (Team Leader)

Our client is one of Yangon's leading Transport and logistics service companies. They are now hiring an independent salesman to pick up the competitive Freight forwarding market and promote the Ocean Freight services and achieving sales targets allocated by the management team

Description

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand the customer base

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service and support

  • Deliver persuasive and informative sales presentations to potential customers and follow up on leads to close deals

  • Negotiate rates and contracts with customers to maximize revenue and profitability

  • Meet sales targets and exceed revenue goals on a regular basis

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery

  • Participate in industry events and networking activities to promote the company and its services

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, preferably in sea freight

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of sea freight operations and procedures

  • Mandatory Intermediate English or above
