Sales and Marketing Manager at New Commercial Real Estate Development Company in Mandalay
Responsible for developing and managing the commercial functions of the multipurpose commercial real estate in Mandalay, ideally from the retail leasing vertical for the commercial shopping complex
Up to 3,500,000 MMK per month
The Role
The ideal background for the role will be strong hands-on experience in developing commercial real estate in Myanmar and ideal experience in managing multipurpose real estate portfolios in Mandalay. Preferably a Mandalay Native who has strong experience in the commercial real estate market in Mandalay, preferably from shopping center retail leasing function and marketing. Non-Mandalay natives who are keen for relocation opportunities are also welcome

Description
Conduct market research to better understand the spending power in the surrounding
Assist marketing agency to create traditional marketing collaterals from brochures to pamphlets to videos
Utilize social media to promote U Bein Village to attract customers to visit U Bein Village
Manage all social media accounts of commercial real estate and retail complex
Facebook, Instagram, YouTube. and other social media platforms to promote U Bein Village and other future projects
Plan and implement the marketing campaign to promote the project site
Plan, organize, and implement promotional and cultural events regularly at the project site to attract customers
Coordinate and negotiate with marketing agencies needed to support the marketing campaign, promotional events, and cultural events
Coordinate with the hotel management team to assist in branding and other marketing activities of the hotel project
Support the team and complete tasks are given by the supervisor on an ad hoc basis
Duties are subject to change depending on the progress of the project
Set up standard operating procedures for the sales process from the first point of contact with Client to closing deals
Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
Develop a pricing strategy for store rentals and multipurpose areas
Perform market research on types of retail clients
Conduct market research on the pricing of similar properties
Create and develop effective presentations and sales pitches to potential clients
Actively reach out to potential clients to showcase the project
Successfully acquire customers, negotiate deals, and complete paperwork for rental sales
Advertise assigned company’s rental units on Facebook and other relevant online platforms to potential clients and close deals
Contact sales agents to advertise project rental units
Prepare rental agreements and other needed documents for real estate transactions
Perform other work on an ad-hoc basis as per supervisor’s request
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 – 10 years of working experience in commercial real estate, commercial retail complex, and a great understanding of Mandalay Market
Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
Can drive a car and have a valid driving license
Strong leadership and sense of ownership, with the ability to have hands-on experience with project status and coach subordinates closely
Proficiency in English skills in both verbal & written
