​Sales Executive (Food Ingredient) at an International Chemicals Distribution company in Yangon

  • Responsible for Technical Sales, Customer Account development/ management, Supplier dealing functions

  • Up to 1,500,000 MMK plus other benefits and allowances

The Role

The ideal talent will be responsible for selling chemical or raw materials to related industries with technical support. In this role, you will apply stock business, direct business, and indent business, and provide logistics services to our customers/suppliers

Our client is a global Chemicals trading company arranging various types of chemicals such as Food Chemicals, Personal Care / Cosmetic Chemicals, Specialty chemicals, etc. They are well-known and notable employers in the region and sell chemicals through distributors in the regions

Description

  • Achieve sales targets and ensure sales accomplishment

  • Analyze trends and results to determine annual unit and gross-profit plans and implement marketing strategies

  • Forecast and develop annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products

  • Gain technical knowledge from suppliers and provide technical support to customers

  • Conduct marketing activities such as product introductions, sampling, and gathering feedback

  • Communicate with both customers and suppliers through email and in-person meetings

  • Prepare written and oral reports of activities and market information

  • Coordinate sales efforts with management, accounting, logistics, and other business supports

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience within the Chemical industry, prefer Food Chemicals/ Ingredients sales background can consider other sectors that sell Food Chemicals as a cross-selling function

  • Mandatory bachelor’s in science (Chemistry) or Bachelor’s in Engineering (Industrial Chemical) degree holder

  • Advanced English speaker required

  • Strong technical knowledge in Food Chemicals and ability to provide technical support to customers
