Job Description

​Sales Manager at an International Freight Forwarding Company in Yangon

  • Responsible for B2B Sales or Business Development functions, dealing with local and international traders, understanding of US Tradeline

  • Up to $2,000 plus competitive benefits and allowances

The Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for Logistics sales of Freight Forwarding and securing FOB business to the US destinations. Taking care of customers from local and international traders (export and import) to extend the business. Independent role and report to General Manager and Country Manager

Our client is one of the leading international Shipping services companies, providing a wide range or services such as Liner Agency services, Chemicals Logistics, Offshore and Oil & Gas services. They have launched a new Freight Solutions business and hiring an independent contributor and someone who can lead the regional business

Description

  • Responsible for approaching and securing FOB business to the US destinations

  • Analyze, develop, and source customers from both local and international export/import traders to secure business on the US Trade Lane

  • Generating leads for global partners in supporting the total logistics services

  • Report weekly/monthly/quarterly sales activities and market report

  • Independent role, reporting to General Manager and Country Manager

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of working experience within FOB experience, prefer Air / Sea Freight

  • Understanding and etiquette knowledge of foreign trade and logistics services (Intercom, UCP, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s degree holder

  • Advanced English is mandatory

  • Unique requirement: Agile, Communication skills, and lone hunter
