The Role

As a Sales Manager (Food Chemicals), you will be responsible for driving business growth within the Food & Beverages manufacturing and FMCG sectors. Your role will involve technical sales, sales application, customer account development, B2B sales, supplier management, and coordination with the logistics team to ensure smooth import operations

Description

  • Utilize your deep technical knowledge of food chemicals to identify opportunities, consult with clients, and recommend suitable solutions to meet their specific needs

  • Prepare documentation, quotations, and compelling presentations to effectively communicate product benefits and value propositions to customers

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and targeting new business opportunities to achieve sales targets

  • Implement a strategic sales plan to identify potential customers, initiate negotiations, and close sales deals to foster long-term partnerships

  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure reliable and efficient product sourcing, including negotiating terms and pricing agreements

  • Work in tandem with the logistics team to ensure smooth import operations, minimizing delays and ensuring timely delivery to clients

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly within the Food Ingredient / Flavour sectors with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Mandatory Chemical Engineering or related degree holder

  • Strong technical understanding of food chemicals and their applications, allowing you to provide expert guidance to customers

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively
