Senior Android Developer (Remote) at a Well-known Digital Services Company in Yangon
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
Up to 2,000,000 MMK and other allowances
The Role
Proficient in coding and methodologies with demonstrable Proof of work (e.g., GitHub contributions) and a track record of publishing one or more Android apps in the app store (able to provide a demo).
Develop and maintain diverse system integrations, including application-to-application integrations, services, and internal and external APIs.
Possess the ability to design mobile code, implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
Expertise in Modern Mobile Architecture and software design patterns to ensure productivity, maintainability, and scalability.
Experienced in Mobile Native UI, Realm, Networking, Persistency, Multithreading, performance, push notifications, concurrency, Java for Android, and Security.
Collaborate with Agile teams, contributing to the design, development, testing, implementation, and support of technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies; collaborate closely with Product/Business teams
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or five or more years of work experience
Over 5 years of experience in technologies such as Native Android in Java or Kotlin
Demonstrates strong expertise in Android Studio and possesses a good understanding of JNI and proficiency in working with NDK
Has integration experience with Firebase and Google Analytics, shows proficiency with React Native or Flutter, considered as a valuable addition, familiarity with AWS Technologies
Exhibits experience with SQL or NoSQL query languages, with a preference for MySql or PostgreSQL
Capable of handling multithreaded environments and addressing concurrent transactions
Bonus experience in Wallet mobile app or Digital Payment app development
