Senior Operations Officer At a Leading Outsourcing & Corporate Secretarial Services Firm in Yangon, Myanmar

Reporting Manager - General Manager & Assistant Manager

Average 650,000 MMK to 750,000 MMK plus Other Benefits

The Role

  • Develop and implement a strategic approach to advancing relationships with key Government Departments concerning Visa and Immigration Services.

  • Completing all relevant Visa and Immigration documents and ensuring they are received within the time limit set by the Government.

  • Oversee all aspects of the Visa and Immigration Service, ensuring the process runs smoothly.

  • Assist in ensuring ongoing compliance with immigration monitoring requirements, if applicable.

  • Prepare, collate and submit applications for business visitor visas, temporary work permits and permanent residence applications.

  • Ensure that all of the information provided by the client is accurate and correct, preparing and checking all legal documents.

  • Produce Weekly report of status updates to GM in writing.

  • Support AM to provide strategic advice on license applications, submission and investment opportunities for Government approval.

  • Assist GM and AM in day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities.

  • Perform any other relatable duties as assigned by GM and AM.

  • Travel throughout Myanmar as necessary for the approval and negotiation process with Government offices.

  • Provide administrative support to the corporate services business and other related businesses in Myanmar.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelors’ Degree

  • Excellent proficiency of spoken and written English

  • Good inter-personal communication skills and adynamic team player.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be knowledgeable in licensing issues related to government offices.

  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems

  • Able to work individually as well as with team members.

  • At least 2 years+ of relevant working experience in a related field.
