The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced agriculture professional to oversee field operations and crop coverage programs across rice, peanut, and bean cultivation. The role focuses on improving farm productivity, supporting farmers with technical expertise, and ensuring the successful implementation of modern and sustainable farming practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring crop performance, developing agricultural programs, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvements in farming operations.

Description

• Monitor crop performance and provide technical support throughout the cultivation cycle
• Conduct regular field visits to assess crop health, pest and disease conditions, and overall farm productivity
• Deliver training and guidance to farmers on modern farming techniques and crop management practices
• Collect and analyze agricultural data to support planning and yield improvement initiatives
• Develop crop calendars, coverage plans, and extension programs to optimize production
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely availability of agricultural inputs
• Promote sustainable farming practices including soil health management, water efficiency, and integrated pest management
• Prepare field reports and provide recommendations to improve operational performance
• Build strong relationships with farming communities, local authorities, and industry stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural field operations, crop production, or agribusiness
• Strong knowledge of rice, peanut, and bean cultivation practices
• Sound understanding of pest management, crop nutrition, and sustainable agriculture techniques
• Experience in farmer engagement, extension services, or agricultural development programs
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Willingness to travel frequently to rural and field locations
