The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced infrastructure development professional to lead the technical, financial, and strategic planning of a large-scale Special Economic Zone development project. The role will focus on evaluating project feasibility, overseeing master planning activities, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and supporting investment decisions for a landmark development initiative

The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming greenfield land into a world-class industrial and economic hub by managing technical assessments, financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and project development activities

Description

• Lead the development and evaluation of master plans for a large-scale Special Economic Zone project
• Assess land-use planning, industrial and commercial zoning, utility requirements, and infrastructure development needs
• Drive comprehensive techno-economic feasibility studies and business case development
• Develop and review CAPEX, OPEX, and investment models to evaluate project viability
• Assess logistics infrastructure, transportation links, and connectivity to support long-term economic growth
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and applicable SEZ regulations
• Prepare investor-grade reports, feasibility studies, and presentations for key stakeholders
• Engage with government agencies, development organizations, consultants, and potential investors
• Identify project risks and provide strategic recommendations to support successful project implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support planning, development, and investment activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
• Master's degree or relevant professional qualifications will be highly advantageous
• Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in infrastructure development, industrial estate projects, Special Economic Zones, or large-scale master-planned developments
• Proven experience conducting feasibility studies and project assessments for complex development projects
• Strong knowledge of master planning, urban development, project finance, and infrastructure planning
• Experience in CAPEX estimation, financial evaluation, and investment feasibility analysis
• Sound understanding of Special Economic Zone regulations, land development frameworks, and infrastructure planning
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills
• Fluency in English is essential
• Experience working with government agencies, investors, development banks, or international partners will be highly preferred
