The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced infrastructure development professional to lead the planning and feasibility assessment of a major deep seaport development project. The role will focus on evaluating technical, commercial, financial, and environmental aspects of the project while ensuring alignment with long-term development objectives
The successful candidate will work closely with international consultants, government stakeholders, investors, and project partners to transform a strategic infrastructure vision into an investment-ready development project

Description
- Lead the overall feasibility studies and master planning activities for a large-scale deep seaport development project
- Collaborate with international consultants to assess port layouts, terminal configurations, marine infrastructure, and integration with industrial development zones
- Evaluate project economics and develop comprehensive financial models, including CAPEX, OPEX, ROI, and risk analyses
- Assess marine engineering requirements including dredging, coastal conditions, navigation safety, and port design considerations
- Review logistics corridors, transportation networks, and connectivity infrastructure supporting regional and international trade
- Identify technical, commercial, environmental, and regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with international environmental, maritime, and sustainability standards
- Coordinate preparation of feasibility studies, technical reports, investment proposals, and tender documentation
- Present project findings and strategic recommendations to senior management, investors, government agencies, and development partners
- Support stakeholder engagement and facilitate collaboration among all parties involved in project development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Coastal Engineering, Marine Engineering, Port Planning, Project Finance, or a relevant infrastructure discipline
- Master's degree or professional engineering qualifications would be highly advantageous
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in port development, maritime infrastructure, or major transportation projects
- Proven track record in conducting feasibility studies and planning large-scale infrastructure developments
- Strong understanding of port operations, maritime logistics, dredging technologies, and supply chain infrastructure
- Experience in financial modeling, investment analysis, project evaluation, and business case development
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations, environmental standards, and infrastructure development frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
- Excellent technical report writing and presentation abilities in English
- Experience working with government agencies, investors, international consultants, or development institutions will be highly preferred
