The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Technologist with an interest in pathology and histopathology laboratory services. The role will focus on supporting the full pathology testing process, managing laboratory quality standards, and assisting in the preparation and processing of pathology specimens and slides.

Description

• Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical laboratory processes
• Receive, register, and manage pathology specimens and slides
• Prepare pathology slides and support slide scanning procedures
• Assist in producing pathology reports and laboratory documentation
• Manage laboratory reagents, consumables, and equipment for quality assurance purposes
• Monitor laboratory workflows to ensure operational efficiency and service quality
• Maintain compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the pathology laboratory

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Histopathology or Pathology Laboratory is preferred
• Fresh graduates with relevant practical or internship experience are encouraged to apply
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and related software applications
• Ability to work efficiently in a laboratory environment with flexible working schedules
