The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial and operational leader to take ownership of a growing petroleum and lubricant business. The role will focus on managing petroleum sourcing, distribution, supply chain operations, market expansion, and key stakeholder relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainable business growth.
The successful candidate will lead the development of the lubricant business, strengthen customer and distributor networks, and work closely with suppliers, government agencies, and key industry stakeholders to drive long-term commercial success.

Description
- Lead petroleum sourcing, procurement, trading, distribution, and sales operations
- Manage relationships with suppliers, distributors, transport providers, dealers, and key customers
- Oversee inventory management, depot operations, transportation, and product distribution activities
- Ensure continuous product availability while minimizing supply chain disruptions
- Take full responsibility for the growth and commercial success of the lubricant business unit
- Develop and expand distributor, dealer, workshop, automotive, and industrial customer networks
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers and manufacturers regarding product availability, pricing, specifications, and supply planning
- Oversee importation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution requirements
- Lead market expansion initiatives and identify new business opportunities to support revenue growth
- Monitor overall business performance and implement initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency
Government Relations & Regulatory Affairs
- Act as the company's senior representative in dealings with government authorities, ministries, and regulatory bodies
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key government stakeholders
- Represent the company at industry meetings, regulatory discussions, and official coordination activities
- Manage licensing, permits, import and export approvals, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure business operations remain compliant with relevant laws and regulations
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely submissions of regulatory documents, applications, and reports
- Facilitate and follow up on approvals, permits, and government-related matters
- Maintain effective tracking systems for licenses, approvals, and regulatory requirements
- Resolve government-related issues efficiently while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of experience in petroleum, lubricants, energy, FMCG distribution, industrial products, or related commercial sectors
- Proven experience managing sales, distribution, trading, or business development functions
- Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory management, procurement, and distribution operations
- Experience in developing distributor and dealer networks
- Strong knowledge of government regulations, licensing requirements, and stakeholder engagement processes
- Demonstrated experience managing relationships with government agencies, business partners, and key customers
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive business growth and profitability
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Myanmar
