• Overseeing and managing and maintaining an organization’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations

• Up to 1,500,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role

This role is responsible for managing the financial operations and accounting activities of a company to ensure accurate financial record-keeping, compliance, and reporting

Our client company refers to several companies operating in the logistics and supply chain sector, with a focus on freight forwarding, cargo management, and integrated logistics services

Description

• Managing financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, bank statements, and general ledger entries to maintain accuracy and completeness

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Managing tax payments and preparing tax returns

• Conducting internal audits and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations

• Preparing budgets for the company and individual departments

• Maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial data management

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is generally required

• Professional certifications such as ACCA are often preferred or considered a plus

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (e.g., IFRS)

• Ability to prepare and analyse financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance, including managing tax payments and statutory requirements

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
