HR Manager at a Manufacturing Company in Yangon, Myanmar

The Role
 
The role will oversee all human resources operations, collaborate closely with department heads, and ensure compliance with labor regulations. This position requires hands on leadership in shaping HR strategies that support business growth, workforce stability, and employee engagement within a manufacturing setting

Description
  • Oversee end to end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, compensation & benefits, and performance management
  • Develop HR policies, SOPs, and organizational processes aligned with company and production goals
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, culture building programs, and retention strategies
  • Manage training & development plans to enhance staff capability, operational efficiency, and leadership talent
  • Ensure compliance with Myanmar labor laws, workplace safety regulations, and manufacturing industry standards
  • Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and workforce planning
  • Collaborate with management to support HR strategies for factory expansion and operational improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in HR, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar labor law and HR best practices
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, or other regulated industries is an advantage
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to manage multiple HR functions and support cross department collaboration
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, recruitment tools, and employee performance frameworks
