• Lead and manage all finance and accounting functions including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, compliance, and financial planning to support business growth and operational excellence

The Role

The role is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial support to enhance organizational performance within a professional research services environment.

Our client is a reputable research services company providing market research, business intelligence, data analysis, and consulting solutions to local and international clients. 

Description

• Managing daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports accurately and on time
• Ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and company financial policies
• Supervising month-end and year-end closing processes and maintaining accurate accounting records
• Managing tax filings, tax payments, and coordinating with tax authorities when required
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with management
• Assisting senior management with financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, LCCI, ACCA qualification preferred. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting functions, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior accounting position
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, or audit within manufacturing industry
• Good knowledge of Myanmar tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial compliance requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software, and Microsoft Office
