The Role

Assist in the full set of accounting functions, financial reporting, and ensure compliance while supporting business operations with accurate financial information.

Description

• Assist in the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions. 
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit activities. 
• Support management by providing financial analysis, budgeting support, and recommendations to improve financial processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including experience in a senior accounting role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and Myanmar accounting regulations
• Proficient in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proficiency in both English and Burmese
