Lead and manage the treasury function, overseeing cash flow management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, funding, foreign exchange, and financial risk management to support the organization’s financial stability and strategic objectives.

Description

• Develop and implement treasury strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the organization’s financial objectives
• Oversee daily cash management, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital management
• Monitor the organization’s cash position and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational and financial obligations
• Manage banking relationships, including negotiations with banks on facilities, interest rates, fees, and other banking services
• Oversee short-term and long-term funding requirements and optimize the organization’s financing structure
• Manage foreign exchange exposure and develop strategies to mitigate currency and financial risks
• Monitor bank facilities, loans, guarantees, letters of credit, and other financial instruments
• Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies, financial regulations, and applicable Myanmar laws
•  Prepare treasury reports, cash flow forecasts, liquidity analysis, and financial risk reports for senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in treasury or financial management, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position
• Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, corporate banking, funding, foreign exchange, and financial risk management
• Strong understanding of Myanmar banking practices, financial regulations, and corporate finance principles
• Excellent analytical, financial planning, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and financial institutions
• Good command of English and Burmese, with strong verbal and written communication skills
