The Role

Lead and manage the accounting function, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, taxation, cost control, and internal controls to support the company’s financial performance and continued growth.

Description

• Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Oversee cash flow management, payment schedules, and working capital requirements
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting, including food costs, wastage, and operating expenses
• Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable Myanmar tax regulations and accounting requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, LCCI, or equivalent is highly preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Experience in the food service, restaurant, retail, FMCG, or other multi-outlet business environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, cost accounting, and internal controls
• Good understanding of Myanmar accounting and tax regulations
• Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
