The Role
Lead and manage the company’s finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, strong cash flow management, and compliance with applicable financial regulations. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support business decisions and the company’s long-term growth.

Our client is an established Media company in Yangon, operating in a dynamic industry and delivering media-related services to a diverse range of clients and business partners.
Description
- Prepare annual budgets, operating forecasts, and cash-flow plans.
- Manage accounting activities, financial statements, payments, and receivables.
- Monitor content acquisition expenses, production budgets, and operational costs.
- Coordinate with commercial teams to track advertising, sponsorship, and other revenue.
- Establish financial policies, expenditure approval procedures, and internal controls.
- Manage payroll coordination, tax compliance, and statutory financial reporting.
- Review supplier payments, content licensing fees, and production-related expenditure.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial performance reports.
- Support financial negotiations, cost optimization, and investment planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
- Strong budgeting, reporting, financial analysis, and accounting software skills.
- Media, advertising, entertainment, or project-based finance experience is an advantage.
