Finance Manager at a Well-known Trading Company in Yangon, Myanmar
Lead and manage the finance and accounting functions of the company 
Salary is up to 3,000,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role
The role is required to oversee preparation, consolidation, and review of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports

About the Company
Our client is a Myanmar-based company primarily engaged in the energy sector, specializing in fuel station operations and fuel importation

Description

• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making by senior management
• Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity and operational funding
• Manage treasury operations, including intercompany loans, funding strategies, and foreign exchange transactions
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions for operational banking and compliance
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to ensure business continuity
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls, procedures, and internal policies
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process and ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
• Support financial reporting to stakeholders and ensure timely submission of financial statements
• Develop and enforce financial policies and ensure adherence to internal tax controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in finance management or leadership roles in financial/accounting environments
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, cash flow management, and statutory accounts
• Experience with ERP and accounting software is often required
• Familiarity with Myanmar tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills in both Burmese and English (written and spoken)
