Finance Manager at the local construction and real estate company in Yangon, Myanmar.

• responsible for overseeing the company’s financial management, planning, and control to support construction operations and business objectives
• Up to 2,500,000 MMK and other allowances

The Role

This role covers recruitment and onboarding, salary administration, promotions and transfers, personnel administration, training and development, employee and industrial relations, HRIS data maintenance, time and attendance, succession planning, performance and discipline management, and leave administration.

Description

• Manage overall financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Oversee cash flow, project cost control, and working capital to support construction projects
• Ensure compliance with Myanmar tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and external consultants as required
• Monitor project expenditures, identify variances, and provide financial analysis to management
• Lead and develop the finance and accounts team to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Support management in decision-making through financial analysis and risk assessment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (professional qualifications such as CPA/ACCA preferred)
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and cost control
• Good leadership, analytical, and communication skills
