The Role

Excellent Opportunity for or a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join a reputable foreign bank in Myanmar. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating credit applications, analysing financial information, and providing sound credit recommendations to support quality lending decisions while maintaining a balanced risk profile

Description

• Analyze corporate and commercial credit applications by reviewing financial statements, cash flow, and business performance
•  Conduct financial spreading, ratio analysis, and credit risk assessments to support lending decisions
•  Prepare detailed credit proposals and recommendations for approval by Credit Committees
•  Evaluate borrowers' repayment capacity, industry outlook, and business risks
•  Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of deteriorating credit quality
•  Perform annual credit reviews and portfolio monitoring in accordance with internal policies
•  Ensure compliance with the bank's credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards

Requirements

•  Bachelor's degree in finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
•  Minimum 5 years of experience in Credit Analysis, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, or Risk Management
•  Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and lending principles
• Experience preparing credit proposals and conducting financial modelling is an advantage
•  Good understanding of corporate banking products and commercial lending practices
• Good with proficiency in both written and oral in English and Burmese
