• Responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining Linux server infrastructure, high-availability environments, cloud hosting, and system security for client services and internal operations.

Linux System Engineer will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting mission-critical Linux-based server environments, ensuring system uptime, security compliance, and high performance.

Description

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Linux-based servers (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian) across physical, virtualized, and cloud environments
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and server availability to ensure optimal reliability and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
• Configure and manage core network/system services including web servers (Nginx, Apache), databases, DNS, DHCP, NFS, and backup solutions
• Troubleshoot complex OS, hardware, network connectivity, and service-level issues to minimize downtime and resolve incidents promptly
• Formulate and maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and disaster recovery plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and client management teams to support infrastructure upgrades and technical migrations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., RHCE, RHCSA, Linux+) are highly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Linux System Engineer or Linux Administrator in an enterprise or IT services provider environment
• Strong expertise in Linux OS administration, shell scripting (Bash/Python), virtualized platforms (VMware, KVM), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, VPN), storage management, and database systems
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a service-oriented mindset
• Good command of written and spoken English and Burmese
