National Warehouse Manager at Leading FMCG Company in Yangon

•  Lead nationwide warehouse operations, optimize inventory management, and drive operational efficiency across multiple locations
•  Up to 5,500,000 MMK plus allowance

The Role

This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations at a national level, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution performance. You will lead teams, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels and operational efficiency

Description

• Oversee warehouse operations across multiple locations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence
• Implement and standardize warehouse processes, systems, and best practices
• Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock control, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes
• Monitor stock movements, identify discrepancies, and resolve inventory-related issues
• Manage slow-moving and obsolete stock, providing recommendations for optimization
• Analyze logistics and distribution performance, identifying opportunities for cost and service improvements
• Provide accurate reporting and insights on inventory and warehouse performance to stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all warehouse operation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• 8–10 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with 3–5 years in a managerial role
• Experience managing multiple warehouse locations at a national level
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, distribution, and warehouse best practices
• Experience in FMCG industry is highly preferred
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
