Description
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing activities to meet production targets
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal resource utilization
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to maintain efficiency
- Ensure products meet established quality standards and specification
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures and protocols
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime
- Prepare and manage budgets related to production activities
- Supervise and mentor production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Stay updated with technological advancements and integrate relevant innovations into production
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role within the chemical, fertilizer, or pesticides industry
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control systems
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in production planning and inventory control
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
