Merchandising Executive at a Market Leading Retailer in Yangon, Myanmar
- Support sourcing, supplier management, and daily operations for the packing house
- Up to 1,500,000 MMK + Allowances
The Role
An excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in purchasing, product quality control, and supplier negotiation. You’ll help manage product flow and inventory for an expanding retail operation

The Role
- Systematically purchase raw goods and supplies for the packing house
- Select products, negotiate prices, and manage supplier relationships
- Monitor product quality and control costs
- Oversee inventory, timelines, and safety in operations
- Coach team members and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards
- Respond to customer inquiries and handle complaints professionally
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, stock levels, and financials
- Prepare departmental KPIs and monthly reports for the Head of Department
- Present progress updates and challenges to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- At least 2 years’ experience in merchandising or procurement
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email)
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Team player with leadership qualities and coaching skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and present clear progress updates
