The Role

This role is responsible for overseeing the full feed mill operation, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective production while maintaining high product quality standards. You will lead plant operations, maintenance, inventory coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives to support business targets and operational excellence

Description

• Lead and manage daily feed mill production operations to achieve output, efficiency, and quality targets
• Monitor plant performance, machine utilization, and operational KPIs to maximize productivity and reduce downtime
• Ensure feed products meet company quality standards, formulations, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate closely with QA/QC teams to maintain product consistency and continuous process improvement
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational continuity
• Drive cost optimization initiatives across labor, energy consumption, raw material usage, and production efficiency
• Monitor inventory levels, raw material flow, and warehouse operations to ensure accurate stock management and FIFO compliance
• Lead, develop, and coach plant teams across production, maintenance, and warehouse functions
• Promote strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and environmental standards
• Prepare operational reports and provide production insights and improvement recommendations to management
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, nutrition, and commercial teams to support business operations and customer demand

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Animal Science, Feed Technology, or related field
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in feed mill or manufacturing operations
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or plant leadership role
• Strong knowledge of feed production processes, machinery, and operational systems
• Experience managing plant efficiency, maintenance, cost control, and production KPIs
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and operational reporting abilities
• Ability to lead teams within fast-paced manufacturing environments
