QA Technician (Chinese Speaking) at an International Garment Brand in Yangon

The Role

This role is responsible for monitoring garment quality, reviewing technical specifications, and supporting factory production processes to ensure products meet international quality and customer standards. You will work closely with suppliers, production teams, and overseas stakeholders to manage quality performance and resolve technical issues throughout the manufacturing process

Description

• Conduct garment inspections throughout production to ensure compliance with quality and technical standards
• Review garment construction, measurements, workmanship, and finishing to ensure product accuracy
• Identify quality issues, defects, and technical concerns while implementing corrective actions with factory teams
• Support sample development, pre-production approvals, and inline quality monitoring
• Work closely with suppliers and production teams to ensure production timelines and quality expectations are achieved
• Prepare inspection reports, quality documentation, and technical feedback for management and customers
• Collaborate with merchandising, production, and sourcing teams to resolve technical and production issues efficiently
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing performance
• Coordinate communication between local factories and overseas teams regarding technical and quality matters

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in garment quality assurance, garment technical, or production quality roles
• Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, measurements, and inspection standards
• Experience working with woven, knit, or fashion apparel products
• Good knowledge of garment production processes and factory operations
• Ability to identify quality issues and provide practical corrective solutions
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Chinese language proficiency is required to communicate with overseas teams and suppliers
• Basic English communication skills are preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
