The Role
The role will lead strategic planning, procurement, supplier management, logistics, inventory, and S&OP activities while identifying opportunities to reduce costs, strengthen processes, and improve overall supply chain performance

Description
- Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives
- Lead the overall SCM function covering procurement, sourcing, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning
- Drive S&OP and operational planning activities to align demand forecasts, supply requirements, and business capacity
- Establish and monitor KPIs covering cost, quality, delivery, inventory turnover, and overall supply chain performance
- Oversee global supplier selection and manage strategic vendor relationships
- Lead high-value commercial negotiations covering pricing, quality, payment terms, and contractual requirements
- Develop alternative sourcing and contingency plans to minimize supply chain risks and business disruptions
- Review supplier requirements and ensure contracts are aligned with company policies and processes
- Optimize warehousing, freight, distribution, and last-mile delivery activities
- Manage inventory through MRP and other planning systems to reduce carrying costs while maintaining sufficient stock availability
- Ensure procurement and logistics activities comply with relevant trade, customs, and safety requirements
- Identify process gaps, operational leakages, and opportunities for improvement across the SCM function
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other relevant methodologies
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives across procurement and logistics operations
- Introduce new ideas, systems, and processes to improve supply chain efficiency and visibility
- Lead, mentor, and develop planners, buyers, and logistics specialists
- Work cross-functionally with operations and other business functions to ensure effective supply and service continuity
Requirements
- Graduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 12+ years of progressive experience across supply chain management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a people management or supervisory capacity
- Strong experience across procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning
- Proven experience in supplier management and high-value commercial negotiations
- Strong understanding of S&OP, MRP, inventory optimization, and supply chain KPIs
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
- APICS CSCP/CPIM or Lean Six Sigma certification is highly desirable
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
